Hi there! Welcome to the forth day of the June Neat & Tangled release countdown! All of the new products will be available in the Neat & Tangled Store on Friday June 8th at 8:00 am EST!
Today we are showcasing the new Receding Blocks Cover Plate die.
So for my card today, I blended Picked Raspberry, Wilted Violet and Blueprint Sketch distress inks onto some Bristol board card stock. I misted with water, blotted and let this dry. I cut the Receding Blocks Cover Plate die out of white card stock, and pressed all of the pieces out. I sprayed this with spray glue and adhered it over my blended piece.
I used the flowers from the Magnolia stamp set. I stamped them on Bristol Board also, and blended the same colors of distress inks onto them. I then cut them out with the coordinating dies, and adhered with foam tape. The sentiment was heat embossed with white embossing powder on black card stock, cut out with the banner dies from the Scalloped Dies set, and added with foam tape as well. I also added a few drops of Nuvo Crystal Drops - Gloss White.
Be sure to stop by the Neat and Tangled Blog to see all of the design team inspiration!
Don't forget - there is a giveaway every day this week of the set(s) being featured that day, and a $25 gift certificate up for grabs at the end of the week. Comment on all of the design team blogs all week for a chance to win. Winners will be announced on the Neat & Tangled Blog Friday at 7:30am EST!
