Hi there! I have some super exciting news to share with you today! It is my first post as a design team member for Lawn Fawn! I really can't express how happy I am to be a part of the Lawn Fawn Design team. Lawn Fawn has been one of my favorite companies since their beginning. Anyone who has followed my blog from the early days, knows how fond I am of their adorable designs, and behind the scenes they are just a super nice group of people :)
So today is the second day of the April Inspiration week and we are showcasing the adorable Slow Down and Enjoy stamp set and coordinating dies.
For my card today, I blended some distress ink for the background followed by sprinkles of water and watered down ink. I cut it out with the Rectangle Stitched dies then cut out a piece of patterned paper from the Perfectly Plaid Petite Paper pack also. I trimmed about an inch and a half off of the top of the paper, and adhered this over the top of the blended piece. I colored and cut out two of the floral pieces from the Simply Celebrate stamp set and adhered this to the top of the patterned paper. The second one I cut apart, and added the extra leaves at the bottom and popped up the middle flower.
The cute little sloths were colored with Copic markers and cut out with the coordinating dies. I added foam tape to the back and tucked them behind the flowers and beneath the patterned paper.
I cut the Thanks Line Border out of Black card stock and adhered it with liquid adhesive along the bottom edge.
Be sure to stop by the Lawn Fawn blog to see the rest of the Design team inspiration!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
