Neat & Tangled: January Release!

Hi there! Welcome to the last day of the January  Neat & Tangled release countdown! All of the new products are available in the Neat & Tangled Store NOW!

My card today uses two of the new release products, the Nesting Hexagons Coverplate, and the Koalifications stamp set and coordinating dies. For my background, I blended some Abandoned Coral and Peacock Feathers Distress ink. I then cut out the Nesting Hexagons cover plate and layered that over the blended background. I blended some more of the Abandoned Coral distress ink onto some card stock and cut the circle out with the Making Waves die set. I added this with foam tape.

The cute Koala was colored with Copic markers and cut out with the coordinating die. I adhered him with foam tape to the circle.

Be sure to stop by the Neat and Tangled Blog to see all of the design team inspiration!

The new Neat and Tangled November release is available now in the store HERE!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

  1. Oh golly, this is delightfully fresh and fun. Your cards have such a crisp colorful look, Kay. The ink blending is terrific and your coloring is wonderful. I could look at your cards all day! Such wonderful eye candy! :)

  2. So cute, Kay! Love the background colors and the adorable koala!!

  3. Super cute and pretty inking Kay!

  4. Just amazing!!! Kay-wality every time!

  5. Love every little darling detail about this Kay!!

  6. Oh he is too cute! You did an amazing job on the card!

  7. Thanks for showing how the cover plate would look over color blending. I was wondering if it would look like a smooth blend or too many lines. Guess it depends on who's doing the blending. Yours, however, is flawless. I love it. I'll just practice more blending.

  8. Your Copic coloring on the Koala is amazing, Kay! I also love how you blended those beautiful colors behind the cover plate! Such a cute card!

Thank you so much for leaving me a comment! I read and appreciate each and every one so much! Hugs :)
