Neat & Tangled: Hello Winter



Hi there! Welcome to the first day of the October  Neat & Tangled release countdown! All of the new products will be available in the Neat & Tangled Store on Friday October 2nd at 8:00 am EST!


This my favorite of all of my projects for the October release! I used the new Hello Winter set and coordinating dies, Get Yeti stamp set and dies, and the banner is from the Scalloped Dies. I just love the way it turned out!   I stamped the words in the background with a light grey ink so they would not detract too much from my focal point. I layered the winter word sentiment cut out of white onto a darker grey card stock, and added it with foam tape. The Hello sentiment is white embossed onto black card stock, and the little images are colored with Copic markers and cut out with the dies. 

I then cut off about a half inch of my card panel and layered that over a card base that I had added a strip of the red striped patterned paper to.

    I love this card too! I love how it is simple and has the red that just makes everything pop. I love this winter sentiment, a must for sure!

    I can see why this is your favorite card, Kay! It is wonderful! I love the words describing winter, so the way you added them in light blue is fabulous. They don't take away from the focal point at all but still add to the card because they can be read. Great job!

    Oh my gosh Kay, this card is absolutely adorable! I love the clever way you stamped the background and those sweet images are so cute! Beautiful Copic coloring, as always and your sentiment is sheer perfection! LOVE this card to pieces!

    Oh how Sweet and pretty this card is, a favorite for me too! Love the subtle stamped background in the light gray color, gives it a wintry look and the yeti friends are adorable! Love them on the banner!
