Neat & Tangled - You're A Gem



Hi there! Welcome to the first day of the July Neat & Tangled release countdown! All of the new products will be available in the Neat & Tangled Store on Friday July 7th at 8:00 am EST!

For this card I am using the beautiful new You're a Gem stamp set and coordinating dies from Neat & Tangled.  I first stamped and embossed the sentiment in white on my background, then I blended some Salty Ocean and Wilted Violet Distress ink over that, and sprinkled with water. 

For the gemstones, I white embossed the images on white card stock and blended different colored inks over top, then cut them out with the coordinating dies. I adhered them to the card with foam tape.


After I was finished with everything I added some of the new sequin mix Starry Night.

    Hi Kay! Happy 4th of July! I've been enjoying all your newest cards, and you're so right, summer is going by so fast that fall will be here before we know it. Your fall leaves and popsicle cards were so pretty. I read every detail, TWICE, because I loved them! Your monkeys are so sweet and fun, seriously. Kay, and the ink blending you do amazes me. The blending is so smooth and transitional, it's hard to believe it's done by hand. You are a gem my friend, talented with a genuinely generous nature.
