Neat & Tangled - Puppies Favorite Things



Hi there! Welcome to the first day of the July Neat & Tangled release countdown! All of the new products will be available in the Neat & Tangled Store on Friday July 7th at 8:00 am EST!

I just love this card! I am a huge dog lover, and I've had puppies on the brain for the past few months. I really need another puppy! Anyway, for the background on this card, I used my Peerless watercolors and just did some random painting with pink, aqua, green, and yellow keeping it kind of soft and pastel looking.


All of the cute images were colored with Copic markers and cut out with the coordinating dies. They were adhered with foam tape. The puppies paws can be cut out with a separate die so you can slip the little items under his paws! So cute!

The sentiment is white embossed on black card stock, cut out and attached with foam tape, then the bottom part was just stamped directly onto the background.

    Hi Kay! I'm an animal lover too, including dogs, although I have to admit I enjoy the many (bunches!)of birds we feed on a regular basis, here at home. Nothing is quite as sweet as when a mama bird brings her young'ins around to our many feeders. The background colors on your sweet dog card is so bright and pretty. I won't ask what paper you use! (Lol, I'm such a stinker!) This week I worked with watercoloring and it struck me why you use Peerless. Small and saturated swatches of color. Well, I've gone on long enough, I just wanted to stop by and say hello & tell you how happy your card made me feel. Wishing you a happy week! :)
