Happy Monday! I have a card to share with you today that I did for The 30 Day Coloring Challenge over at The Daily Marker. I love to color and have been wanting to join in, so finally found some time this weekend to color!
This is an adorable stamp set from Lawn Fawn called Flutter By and the Flutter By Dies that I have had for awhile but never used. I thought it looked like a fun one to color. I used Copic markers to color everything and added shading with my Prismacolor Pencils.
The sentiment is from the Polynesian Paradise Stamp set from My Favorite Things. I embossed it with white embossing powder onto black card stock. I also added a few tiny white dots to the flowers and leaves with acrylic paint.
Thanks so much for stopping by! All of the products are listed and linked below!

ReplyDeleteHappy first day of Spring, Kay! What a spectacular card to celebrate! This is gorgeous. You've colored your flower and butterfly beautifully. I adore the pencil accents. They really add some interest and depth. I also really, really like what you did with the background. So very pretty. Happy for you to have a chance to play along with the color challenge. Happy for us because we get to see another wonderful card from you! Win, win! Have a happy day! Hugs. :)

ReplyDeleteHi Kay! Your lovely work is a BEAUTIFUL way to celebrate Spring. Except for, even in Florida the birds are confused by our changing temps. Not complaining tho. :) I practiced my watercoloring this past weekend and am learning to be patient with the results, until it dries. I'm still surprised all the time. I'm happy you're using products and sites that you didn't have the time to before, not only for your free spirit but your generosity stretches my imagination as well. What a gift! Thank you Kay. :)
