Papertrey Ink Release In Review

Hello and welcome to the Release in Review post for the November Papertrey Ink  Release! The new products you are seeing here will be available in the store at Papertrey Ink on November 15th at 10:00 EST!

My first card uses the new Fill In The Blanks stamp set and matching dies by Erin. This is a really fun set and I can see so many possibilities with it! I stamped the frame with Stormy Sea, cut it out, and adhered it off the edge of my card base. I then stamped the just because word background with Taken With Teal and New Leaf inks, cut that out, and adhered it with foam tape. The flowers are from Fresh Floral Wraps and the leafy thing is from Songbirds.

I embossed the Just because sentiment on black card stock with white embossing powder, then adhered that with foam tape too.

STAMPS: Fill In The Blank, Fresh Floral Wraps
DIES: Fill In The Blank, Fresh Floral Wraps, Song Bird
INK: New Leaf, Tropical Teal, Pure Poppy, Stormy Sea
PAPER: Stamper’s Select White, Soft Stone, Smokey Shadow
OTHER: Sequins

This one was created with Maile's new Splits: Happy Birthday set and dies, along with Betsy's new Noted: Scalloped A2 Vertical Dies. I love the tiny scalloped stitching on these! The Happy Birthday was stamped with Raspberry Fizz, and the outer part with Hibiscus Burst. I cut the inner part of the scalloped die out of some watercolored paper, I had watercolored with Hibiscus Burst.

The White leaves are cut with the die from Songbirds. I'm really getting a lot of use out of that one these days :)

Oh I love the newest addition to the Dress UP Dolls! Winter Fun is so cute! I especially love that little snowman! Had so much fun coloring these! I used some Distress inks to created my background on watercolor paper. I used the smallest snowflake from Fancy Flakes dies to cut out the snowflake. The snowdrift is cut with the Sentiment Splits: Curved Vertical.

The sentiment is from Cozy Christmas stamp set.

This was a fun one to make, and I did it a little bit different than I usually do. I first stamped the plate directly onto my card base. Then I cut a mask out with the die for the plate and put that over it. I put painter's tape across where I wanted my horizon line and then blended some Aqua Mist ink below it. After that, I colored everything with Copic markers and added them with foam tape. The sentiment is from the new Keep It Simple: Birthday lll.

STAMPS: What The Doodle: Piece of Cake, Keep it Simple: Birthday III
DIES: What The Doodle: Piece of Cake
INK: True Black, Aqua Mist
PAPER: Stamper’s Select White
