I have a card to share with you today that I created with some of the new stamps from Pink Ink Stamp Company. Aside from Christmas and winter stamps, beachy, tropical stamps are my next favorites, and I just love this one from Pink Ink!
Oh isn't that gorgeous! I can hear the waves :) I stamped everything with Simon Says Stamp black ink, on Master's Touch watercolor paper from Hobby Lobby, and watercolored it with my Distress markers. I splattered a little bit of brown distress marker mixed with water along the bottom too. Pretty simple card to create, but you don't need to do a lot when you have an image this pretty!
All of the stamps I used are listed below!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful week!
Hugs,
Kay :)
So pretty! Now I am ready for a trip to the beach!
ReplyDeleteI can hear the waves, too and just about feel the sand! Glorious card! You're so right, you don't need to embellish a wonderful image when you've got the watercoloring magic touch! This looks fantastic, Kay. :) Big hugs to you!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card! Love the soft colors. I really love to go to the beach! Can't resist to pick up shells, again and again. We have a lot of shells here in the house and our garden :)
ReplyDeleteLovely, lovely card Kay, and totally makes me want to go to the beach! :0)

ReplyDeleteOh wow!! This is STUNNING!! I love the lightness of the colors and how you just let that stamp stand out!!
ReplyDeleteThis card is amazing! I have been wondering what paper you use! I went to the Hobby Lobby website ~ do you use the Masters Touch paper pad or canvas pad?
ReplyDeleteThank you for all the inspiration! Now I have to wait for the stamp to get back in stock!!! :)
This is perfectly sweet Kay!! I want to go where that gate leads to!!

ReplyDeleteI'm a real 'beach bum', so this is right up my alley! LOVE your beautiful watercoloring, Kay! Great idea to add the splatters to this card, too...Perfect, as always!

ReplyDeleteFantastic card, Kay! Love the soft colors, and yes, I can hear the waves too. Makes me miss the ocean a lot – I need to find a vacation spot on the shore of some big body of water this year :)
ReplyDeleteTradeonix Review
ReplyDeleteWhat we can all learn from this article is the idea that we do not have to rely on our employers to be there for us when we desperately need them to pay us our periodic paycheques at the end of our working days. There are alternatives and, while we still can, I believe we owe it to ourselves and our families to have a back-up plan and look at every single opportunity available.

There's nothing like the feeling of the ocean. And this card evokes all of it. A thing of beauty.
