Hello, it's time for a brand spankin' new Sketch For You To Try Challenge on the Reverse Confetti Blog ! It runs the whole month of February so you have plenty of time to give it a try! Here's a peek of the sketch if you want to join in on the fun!
And here is what I did with it!
Isn't that a fun sketch! I decided to use the hearts from the new Stamped Note Confetti Cuts for the circles and I used the stamp frame for the background. The paper is from the Love Bugs paper pack by Doodlebug Designs. The sentiment and the little hat are both from the Smore Love stamp set and matching Confetti Cuts.
The pink tag behind everything is the little tag from the Tag Me Confetti cuts. I cut out two of them and glued one at the top and one at the bottom, to make it look like one long piece. Now I have one more Valentine card to add to my stash! It's not far off :)
Be sure and head on over to the Reverse Confetti blog to see what the rest of the team has done with the sketch, and to play along for a chance to win a $20 gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti store and claim the title of "Fetti Fave".
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Hugs,
Kay :)
Lovely!

Great take on the sketch, Kay! I adore that pink color. It's a great Valentine themed card and the hat is just a little bit unexpected and fun. Clever idea to use those tag pieces to make them look like one long piece. :) Excellent work, my sweet friend! Hugs!!

ReplyDeleteHello wonderful, amazing Kay! Hanging my head in shame at being so incredibly behind in commenting; January was a blur and February, which I thought would be tamer, has been anything but. Life's been supremely hectic, what with work, travel (which involved work…crazy amounts!), DT commitments (which I’ve fallen behind in, too) and a plethora of other stuff! I hope that my ‘thought bubbles of love’ for all your cards have reached you, because I send them frequently! At the moment, we're at my mother-in-law's, so I'm determined to do some catching up with your gorgeous gallery. Your hearts and toque card: sheer delight! Love the crisp images and the bright colours! Smiling brightly!
