We have some fun new Easter products to show you today!
My first project is using the new Cover Plate: Basket Die, along with Bunny Basket Stamps and dies by Heather Nichols. I cut the basket die out of Stamper's select white card stock and backed the bottom part with some Lovely Lady card stock. I added some Vintage Jadeite patterned paper in the outer edge parts.
I tucked the bunny and the eggs from Bunny Basket in the top of the basket and a couple of eggs at the bottom. The bow is from Bells & Boughs stamp set.
STAMPS: Bunny Basket, Bells & Boughs
DIES: Bunny Basket, Bells & Boughts, Cover Plate: Basket, Tag Sale Quilted
INK: Hibiscus Burst, Bright Buttercup, Hawaiian Shores, Blueberry Sky, Spring Moss, Classic Kraft
PAPER: Stamper’s Select White, Mint Julep + White Basics, Lovely Lady

For my next project I created a little treat box for some Easter candy. I cut a piece of watercolor paper 12 x 5 1/2 and scored at 1 1/4", 5 7/8", and 7 3/8". Then I just folded that up and folded the top edge over. Super simple way to create a fun gift box!
I glued a strip of Lovely Lady patterned paper across the top, then I did the watercoloring on the front with Peerless watercolors. I then cut the Shaped Sayings: Easter die out three times and glued that on. I added some eggs from Bunny Basket and then stuck my spring mint candy inside and threaded a white ribbon through some holes I punched in the top with a hole puncher.
12 x 5 1/2 Score at 1 1/4 5 7/8 , 7 3/8
STAMPS: Bunny Basket
DIES: Bunny Basket, Shaped Sayings: Easter
INK: Hibiscus Burst, Hawaiian Shores, Bright Buttercup
PAPER: Stamper’s Select White, Lovely Lady + White Basics, Watercolor paper
OTHER: Peerless Watercolors

My last project for today features the adorable new Simply Spring Borders stamps and dies by Lizzie. So so cute! I watercolored a little grassy spring background, then stamped, cut out, and lightly colored the bunnies and eggs with Copic markers.
I added a few white dots with my white gel pen and a few 4mm sequins to finish this up!
STAMPS: Simply Spring Borders
DIES: Simply Spring Borders
INK: True Black
PAPER: Stamper’s Select white card stock
OTHER: Watercolor paper, Peerless watercolors

ReplyDeleteHi Kay,
ReplyDeleteOnce again you make me fall in love with your creations over and over. You manage to make magic with watercolor and color combos, you make bright color combos instead of flashy,CLASSY, and sooo happy, your creations are a tool for depression, one look at them and INSTANTLY, you feel better, your days are brighter and you get happy just looking at them! Having said that and echoing Peeege's comment, you have at least two fans waiting for your videos. But I bet that if I do a survey, there would be hundreds if not thousands wishing for the same!
To sum this up once again I give your creations my word........SCRUMPTILICIOUS! ...And you are welcome!
