MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #266

Hello! Today I'm sharing a card I created for the MFT Sketch Challenge this week.

Here's the sketch and you can check out all the details on the MFT Challenge blog it you'd like to play along!

Here's what I did with it!

I was dying to use those cute little aliens from the Out of This World set and I thought his cute little purple self would go real nicely on a watercolored space-like background. And since we are so close to Valentines day, I thought he should be holding a heart :) So I colored up one from the Lucky stamp set. The little alien guy is colored with Copic markers and the heart is watercolored with Peerless watercolors.

I colored and cut out a few stars to go around him and added a few clear PPP sequins as well.

If you'd like to join in on this challenge be sure and stop by the MFT Challenge blog to get all the details and see what the other Design team girls have done!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Kay :)

  1. Fabulous! I adore the colors in the background and your little love struck alien guy is adorable. The sentiment in white on black really pops. So glad you pulled him out and got him on a card. It would have been a shame to have missed this great card! Hugs!! :)
