Hello! I have a fun winter card to share today that I created with Penny Black products. I adore making scene cards, and Penny Black has some of the cutest images for doing just that! I love the little girls and animals!
I have to admit that snow and winter scenes are by far my favorite, so I'm glad I have another month at least to create those kinds. For this card, I stamped the snowflakes in the background on watercolor paper, using distress inks, then took a wet brush and went around the slightly to give it that loose watercolor look. The little girls is colored with Copic markers, fussy cut and adhered with foam tape.
I just love those birch trees! I cut them out of white card stock and glued them flat to my watercolored background. I added just a few clear 4mm PPP sequins for a little winter sparkle!

This is a delightful little scene, Kay. You are so great at creating them. I really like the background. The colorful snowflakes are gorgeous. Your little girl is adorable all bundled up and holding that sweet little bird. The birch trees balance the card perfectly. If I looked that good trekking out in the snow, in real life, I'd want to do it all the time! :) Happy hugs!!
