Hello! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! We did, but I have to admit that by Christmas eve I was tired. So much to do, so many events, so much to get ready for.... whew! I put all the Christmas decorations up yesterday and cleaned the house. I love Christmas more than anyone, but when it's over, it's over :)
All of that being said, I have a Christmas card to share with you today! haha! I never get tired of making Christmas cards :)
I also have some exciting news from Reverse Confetti! I will be staying on with the Confetti Crew in 2016! You can check out the 2016 Reverse Confetti team page HERE to see all the new pretty pictures!
Jen has some exciting announcements on the RC blog if you want you can read all about it HERE. There are going to be monthly releases instead of every other month now! FUN right?
So here is the card I have to share with you today! Yes, it's hard for me to let go of making Christmas cards....
I started by watercoloring my background with Peerless watercolors then splattering with water and then again with the same colors that I watercolored with. I let that dry well. I embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder and cut that out with the flag die. The Merry was cut twice and glued together for dimension then adhered to the card. The Christmas light was stamped then the top part I embossed with gold embossing powder. I cut this out with the Merry & Bright Confetti cut and adhered it with foam tape. The leaves were cut with the Leafy Confetti cut and adhered with glue just underneath the edge of the lightbulb.
As always I had to add a few PPP sequins to finish it up!
Thanks so much for stopping by! All of the products I used for this card are listed and linked to the Reverse Confetti Store below!
Have a safe and wonderful New Year!
Kay :)

ReplyDeleteSo thrilled to be working again with you in 2016!
Wonderful news that you're staying on with RC, Kay! You create such magical cards with Jen's products, and today's is yet more evidence. Love the images, the blue and white, the design...gorgeous!

Congratulations, Kay! Your card is gorgeous. Love the colors So happy to be able to see your magical touch with these neat products for another year! Beautiful photo of you as well. I hear you about putting Christmas away. I'm itching to as well. :) Cards are a bit less messy and cluttery and the mess/clutter they do create tends to be a bit more contained so I don't blame you for wanting to keep creating Christmas cards. Hugs!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, and congratulations!
ReplyDeleteOh wow!! This is stunning!! I LOVE the blues that you used on this. I never get tired of Christmas cards either. Better to make them throughout the year then scrambling at the last minute!!

ReplyDeleteCongrats on another term with RC, Kay! They are so lucky to have you to showcase their beautiful products (and so are we)! Beautiful water coloring on your background, and I love your choice of elements and color combo! Stunning card, as always!
ReplyDeleteKay I love your cards so much. Can I ask a big favour? I love to pin your cards for inspiration but you do not have the Pinterest widget amongst the options below each post or "Pin It" as a pop up on each image...as you would see on many blogs. Would you consider getting them for eager fans such as myself? Thanks for considering. xLinda
ReplyDeleteLove this card, Kay, the blue watercolor background is so pretty with the bulb and leaves, and the single pop of gold embossing is such a nice touch! Glad to hear you had an enjoyable Christmas, and really happy to see you're going to continue designing for RC!!
