MFT December Release Countdown Day 1

I am back for the last day of the My Favorite Things Release Countdown! It has flown by and there are only mere hours until all of the fabulous new stamps and dies will be available!

Be sure to check out the My Favorite Things Blog to see a full reveal of today's products, and to see what all the other fabulous design team members have done! All of the new products will be available tomorrow, December 8th, at 10:00pm EST!

Today I am showcasing two fun new products, the Tropical Flower stamp set and Die-namics and the Stitched Hexagon STAX Die-namics.

Tropical flowers in December you ask? Well that's what I asked anyway... Those MFT girls all live down in sunny Florida, so they're thinking tropical thoughts all the time, but this girl here is still waiting on her first snowfall and dreaming of a white Christmas :) So being as I am very much in a wintery Christmas mood, I made a wreath with my tropical flowers! :)

See! How fun is that! I thought it turned out right cute and Christmasy! I used the MISTI to stamp the leaves in two tones using Sour Apple and Green Room dye inks. The flowers are from the Mini Modern Blooms stamp set and stamped in wild cherry, persimmon and Coral Crush.

So see! Quite the versatile set we have here :) It can take you through summer and into Christmas! :)

My next card is one of my favorites from this whole release! So cold and wintery! These are some of my favorite colors too!

I watercolored my background with Peerless watercolors. I cut the hexagons out of watercolor paper and watercolored them too leaving a little white around the edges. The big snowflake is from the Pierced Snowflake dies, and it's hard to see, but I stamped a few snowflakes from Snowflake Flurry in the background.

I added a few clear PPP sequins for a frosty winter touch!

Make sure you hop on over to the  My Favorite Things Blog to see a full reveal of today's products, and to see what all the other fabulous design team members have done! And don't forget, tomorrow, December 8th, at 10:00pm EST all the new products will be in the MFT Online store! Can't wait!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs,

Kay :)
