Countdown To Confetti Day One!

Hello friends!

Today is the start of the sneak peeks for the September Release from Reverse Confetti! You are in for a treat! This month's new products are amazing! Wait until you see!! So cute!! The new products will be in the store on Sept 8th! Be sure to stop by the Reverse Confetti Blog to see what all the Confetti Crew has created!

Today we are sneaking peeks of the adorable new stamp sets Too Cute To Spook, with matching Confetti Cuts and Easy as Pie with matching Confetti Cuts. I created an adorable tag with the Easy As Pie stamps and dies and the Thanks Tag Confetti Cuts.

Isn't that little pie cute?? Now if only I could make a real pie to put this tag on, then we would be in business! ha! Well, the kitchen is not my forte, so I'll stick with the card making :) So for this little tag, I cut the tag out of Canson Watercolor paper using the new Thanks Tag Confetti Cuts. I blended some Vintage Photo Distress ink onto the center, sprinkled with water and then splattered with some more Vintage photo. After this was plenty dry, I stamped the sentiment from the Easy As Pie stamp set. I cut the little red border from a piece of watercolor paper that I had blended some Festive Berries Distress ink on. I just used the bottom of the tag to cut it out and then glued it to the bottom of the main tag. I cut the pie pieces out with the Easy as Pie Confetti Cuts and blended a little distress ink onto them as well, Salty ocean on the bottom plate and Vintage Photo onto the pie crust. I cut out the little heart from the red piece, same as the border, and placed it back into the cut out heart on the pie. I adhered the pie to the card with some foam tape.

I added some Baker's Twine to the top so I could attach it to that pie that I'm not going to make ;) Perhaps I should share this tag with my Mother in Law! She makes wonderful pies!

Remember to visit the Reverse Confetti blog for a list of designers with peeks today. Leave comments on each blog for a chance to win a $15 gift certificate. Then, head over to the Reverse Confetti Facebook page and leave a comment there for a chance to win another $15 gift certificate. Good luck!

Adore every detail you've added to make this tag stand out, from the distressinking to the fun baker's twine and every step in between. I'm not much for pie baking either, so I think I'll stick you your kind of baking, too. Hee, hee! Happy weekend, my sweet friend! Hugs!!
