Hello! I have a couple of cards to share with you featuring the beautiful Fall Florals stamp set and Die-namics from My Favorite Things. I love anything floral when it comes to stamps, and this stamp set is so packed with fun flowers and leaves! It has everything you need to put together a beautiful fall bouquet!
For my first card, I stated with a piece of watercolor paper, wet it thoroughly, and dabbed yellow, orange and a touch of pink Peerless watercolors around in the center, letting those blend together, to create a backdrop for my bouquet. When this was dry, I stamped the sentiment in the lower right with Black Licorice hybrid ink. I stamped all of my flowers and greenery with dye inks. The colors I used to stamp them all are listed and linked below in the supply list. I cut them all out with the matching Die-namics and added a few accents with my white gel pen. I adhered these all to my watercolor piece with foam tape. I mounted the whole panel to an A2 size top folded card base of Smooth white card stock. A few Pretty Pink Posh sequins were added last.
Aren't those lovely fall colors! I just love them!

This card uses the same stamp set along with the Stitched Fishtail Frames Die-namics. I sponged some Summer Splash dye ink onto a piece of Sno Cone card stock, then cut the Stitched Fishtail frame from that. I stamped the sentiment from the Delicate Pretty Poppies stamp set onto a piece of smooth white card stock, cut it out with the stitched fishtail frame and placed this inner piece back into the blue Frame before adhering it with foam tape to the Smooth white card stock base. All of the flowers were stamped with dye inks ( listed and linked below in the supplies), cut with the Fall Florals Die-namics, and adhered with foam tape. I added a few white accents to the flowers with my white gel pin, and a few Pretty Pink Posh sequins to finish it off!
And there you have it! Two lovely fall cards ready to mail off to brighten someone's day! :)
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you are enjoying the weekend!
Kay :)
Both of these are SO very gorgeous. Just pop them in a envelope and send them to me and I assure you, my day will be supremely brightened! :) Ha, ha! But seriously, adore the colors you have chosen to use. They evoke such warm and cozy feelings. The inks stamp so crisply, too. You definitely know your way around watercolors, white gel pens, dies and flowers! You my sweet friend, are an incredible card designer. Happy weekend! Hugs!!
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful, Kay, I love the Fall Florals, so happy I was able to get them this last release :)
ReplyDeleteNobody creates a bouquet quite like you, Kay! I love your water colored background and color palette on the first card, and your crisp, clean design on the 2nd card is gorgeous! Loving that you're diving into those fall colors, too...so pretty!
ReplyDeleteVery lovely fall cards with beautiful flowers, Kay!
ReplyDeleteBoth of these cards are delightful! Such beauty and life! Gorgeous pair!
ReplyDeleteOh wow! I don't usually like the white border you get from the diecuts around flowers or leaves, but with this arrangement, with this color combination on the flowers and against this background color and design, it wouldn't have the same punch without the white surrounding each diecut piece. I'm a believer....lol. Well done! Truly an eye catching card. Thank you for the lesson--that there is a place for everything, for every technique, for every look, for every style. Again......WELL DONE.
