Hello Friends!
I have a couple of cards to share with you that I made with the new Skyline Die-namics from My Favorite Things. Now I have lived in some pretty big cities, but the country has been my home for quite a while now, and I must say, I do prefer the quiet and simpler life of the country these days. That said, for some reason, I love Cityscape dies and these new ones from MFT are some of my favorite!
I used some Peerless watercolors and painted a whole sheet, let this dry well, and then cut the London Skyline out from that. I sponged the background with some Daffodil and Summer Sky dye inks. I used a straight scrap of card stock and sponged up against it to get the sun rays. I mounted the London Skyline with foam tape and added the striped paper along the bottom. The sentiment is from the Polynesian stamp set, and stamped in Black Licorice ink onto the white banner. I adhered this with foam tape on top of my Lemon Chiffon sun with foam tape. I added a few Pretty Pink sequins to finish it off!

For this one I used Distress Inks on the background and blended some red and yellow to created a sunrise or sunset, whichever you prefer :) The sun was cut out of Daffodil card stock with the pierced circle die, and glued down flat. I cut the Paris Skyline out of Steel Gray card stock, and mounted that over my background with foam tape. I cut the Accents Celebrate Die-namic out with smooth white card stock, and glued that along the bottom edge of my Skyline. I cut the stars out with smooth white card stock and glued them down flat.
That is all I have for you today! I hope you enjoy what's left of your weekend and have a wonderful week ahead!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Kay :)
