Reverse Confetti Creative Blog Hop!

Hello and welcome to the Reverse Confetti Creative Blog Hop!

The theme for this month's hop is Summer and anything but a card! I did one project that is not a card, but I also have a fun summery card to share with you as well.

If you're following along with the hop you should have come here from Maureen's BlogIf you just happened by you can find the whole line up on the Reverse Confetti Blog!

For my first project I created a cute summery birthday tag using none other than Fabulous Flamingo, one of my favorite stamp sets! And yes, I have managed to squeeze in another flamingo project before fall! Yay!

So I first cut out the tag from Tag Me Too Confetti Cuts and sponged some blue ink along the bottom and slightly up the side. I stamped the sentiment in the lower left corner in black. I cut the two little blue waves out with the doin' the wave confetti cuts and glued them down at about the half way mark. I then stamped and cut out the flamingo and adhered that to my tag with foam tape. The legs I cut out and just glued them down flat. Next I cut the heart from the Love Notes Confetti Cuts and added that in the top left corner with some foam tape. I added a few little white dots with my gel pen, and some Pretty Pink Post sequins.

I just can't wait to put this on someone's birthday gift!!

My next project is indeed a card! I had a ton of fun with my watercolors on this one!

I first watercolored a larger piece of watercolor paper with different shades of pink, orange and yellow Peerless watercolors. When this was dry, I cut out the rounded top shape with the Tagged Tote Confetti Cuts. I stamped the umbrella and sun and colored those with Copic markers and cut them and the cloud out with the matching Confetti cuts. I stamped the sentiment with black ink and adhered the stamped images with foam tape. I went back stamped the little hearts with waterproof black ink and messily painted them with red watercolors. I mounted the panel to a top folded white card base with foam tape and added some Pretty Pink Posh sequins.

I hope you have enjoyed my projects and the rest of the blog hop!!

Next stop on the hop will be Sarah Gough!
