MFT Summer School Session 2 Secondary Colors

Hello friends!
Welcome to another day of summer school with My Favorite Things! I didn't really enjoy summer school when I was a kid, but if they had taught stuff like this I would have LOVED it! I took PE during the summer when I was in high school, so I wouldn't have to dress out and get hot and sweaty during the year. You know, get your hair and make up all messed up in the heat and humidity! Ugh! I grew up in Florida, so you can imagine how that was! Anyway, summer school PE was not so bad. We went to the pool, went bowling and did some rather fun things, and my best friend took it with me, so of course there was lots of laughing!

Okay let's move forward many years now ;) We are talking about summer school where you are going to learn all about Secondary Colors and how to use them in your card making when selecting ink and paper colors!

Here is the card that I created, and to read all about the process, and see more photos I took during the creating of this, hop on over the the MFT blog and join in on the fun!

And a little closer version to see the dimension!

Now are you ready for some summer school fun?  Join us on the MFT Blog for daily challenges you can play along with, lots of inspiration from our designers, and chances to win some fabulous prizes!!

See you in class!

Kay :)

  1. didn't even know that taking PE in summer school was an option when I was going to high school. I would have loved going swimming or bowling. As it was, I was on the drill team and learning routines (dances) for that was my high school PE experience. But yours sounds really kind of fun, too. And yay for having the best friend with you, too! :) On to your card. It's gorgeous. Oh yes it is! Adore the colors and the watercolor background and the lovely flowers, and the dimension and every single little bit about it! So there! Now I'm going to check out the class you spoke of over at the other blog. Have a happy day! Hugs!
