Sweet Memories with Pink Ink Stamps

Hello my friends!

I have a cool card to share today created with a delicious ice cream sundae stamp from Pink Ink Stamp Co! A perfect treat for those warm summer days to come!

We actually haven't had any really hot weather yet. It's been a mild cool spring so far with a lot of rain. I have to admit I'm loving it. It could stay this way until fall as far as I'm concerned. I'm not a fan of heat and humidity, but I know it's coming... there goes my straight hair! haha!

I stamped the ice cream sunday and the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto smooth white card stock, and colored them with Copic markers. I cut the colored panel out with a stitched rectangle die and mounted that onto a card base that I covered with the light blue dot paper. I added a few clear Pink Pretty Posh sequins to finish it off.

  8. Your ice cream sundae looks good enough to eat, Kay! I love how you colored the layers to resemble different flavors and how you added the soft blue halo in the background...so gorgeous! May I ask...are you using Copics or ink for your background?
I hear ya with the weather! I dread the heat and humidity, so I'm not complaining one bit about the cool days and rain....works for me :) I hope all is well with you....Hugs!

  10. Fantastic card, Kay! Looks good enough to eat for sure. Your coloring is fabulous and I like the blue background that helps it pop. You do a great job with adding the sequins for a bit of sparkle, too. Our weather here is like a roller coaster. We made it into the 90s this week, then cooled off with rain and thunderstorms. Who knows what is next. I couldn't deal with humidity for too long any more. Hugs and enjoy!

  15. Luscious and delicious! We're having an 'unusual' hot day today and the same forecast for tomorrow and Monday. After that, back to cool and rainy...I'm not a hot weather fan, but the rain becomes wearisome after a while. On the plus side, six more sleeps, then off to see my family!! Yayyy....perhaps we'll go for ice cream after Ms. T's ballet...
