Be sure to check out the My Favorite Things Blog to see a full reveal of today's products, and to see what all the other fabulous design team members have done! All of the new products will be available June 2nd at 10:00pm EST!
Such a cute little ballerina don't you think? I colored her and the flowers with Copic Markers and cut them out with the matching Die-namics. I stamped the Zig Zag Stitched Rectangle with the Lace Background and glued it to a smooth white card base. I cut out out a Zig Zag Stitched Circle and adhered it over the Stitched Flourish with foam tape. I stamped the sentiment on a tiny Zig Zag Stitched Circle and tucked it under the edge of the lacey stamped panel, and added the little ballerina and flowers with foam tape. Of course a few sequins were added last, just because I can't not add them anymore :)
My next card features the new Abstract Cover-Up Die-namics! First thing I thought of when I saw this die, was a crazy quilt! I thought my card would work perfect for a new baby!
First off I stamped several different background patterns onto 4 1/4 x 5 1/5 pieces of smooth white, Berrylicious, Grapesicle, Natural, and Spearmint card stocks. I stamped them with the same color inks as the paper. I then cut each piece out using the Abstract Cover-up Die-namics. I used the outline piece from the smooth white card stock and glued that to my smooth white card base. I then randomly glued the different pieces that I had cut out back into the white outline. I tried to space my colors around evenly. After that, I made the white stitching around each of the shapes with a white gel pen. Nect I cut a circle out with the Zig Zag Stitched Circle STAX, layered a Berrylicious doily on top, and added the cute little bunny with foam tape. I stamped the sentiment with black licorice ink on a little fish tail banner, and added it with foam tape as well.
The backgrounds I used for the patterns were Roses All Over, Garden Flourish, Tiny Stars, and Lace.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Don't forget to stop by the MFT blog to see more wonderful things you can do with these fun new products!
