Paper Smooches You're Cute-icle!




Hello Friends!


 I wanted to share a card I made with a stamp set from the Paper Smooches April Release. I had so much fun with this set!!  I paired it with the flowers from the Reflections stamp set to make it even more girly :)


I first, using a paintbrush, tapped a little bit of ink on the corners of my white card stock for the little speckles, and then randomly stamped the flowers and leaves. Next I cut the hand and pink fingernails out. I glued the nails on the hand and then I painted them with fingernail polish!! Yes! Real fingernail polish! So fun! :) They look so shiny and pretty in real life! Then I added the big diamond from the Ahoy Ye Matey set, because every lovely hand needs a big diamond on it :)

    Kay, this is so fun! I can't believe you used real nail polish. Well, maybe I can. :) You are so creative. How fun to add the speckles of ink for additional interest. Great thinking to add that big old diamond. They say they are a girl's best friend. LOL Seriously, what a fun and fantastic card. You are so clever!

    I love this card Kay, it makes me want to paint my nails! My hands are not quite as smooth as the one on the card though.
    I have an idea for more ornaments : Fourth Of July! ???
