This is the first official day of the My Favorite Things May Release Countdown! You have no idea how excited I am to be saying that! haha! This new release is packed with amazing new stamps and dies and I am so happy to be able to work with them and share my projects with you! Be sure to check out the MFT blog for a full reveal of today's featured stamps and dies, and mark your calendar for May 5th at 10 p.m. EST when all of the fabulous new products will be available in the MFT online store!
Today I have a card for you that I created with the new stamp set LJD Terrific Ties, matching LJD Terrific Die-namics and Blueprings #25 Die-namics.
I struggle with masculine cards as I have heard many do, but with this set of stamps and dies, this card came together so quickly and I ended up loving what I did!
I started with an A2 top folding card made with Smooth White card stock. I ran it through my Big Shot using the stitched die from the Blueprints #25. I then cut a Grout Grey panel out using the new Cross Stitched Rectangle dies. I used the long triangle die from Blueprints #25 to cut out the criss crossing triangles across the top of the panel out of Tropical Teal, Natural, and Steel Blue card stock. I glued those to the Grey panel. I cut the white stars from Blueprints #25 and glued them along the top. Next I cut out three ties and stamped them with Steel Blue, Tropical Teal and Natural dye ink. I added foam tape and adhered them to the panel. I then stamped the sentiment from LDJ Terrific Ties at the bottom and adhered the grey panel to the white card base with foam tape.
I think I'm going to give this to my Dad for Father's day. He'll be impressed for sure! heheh!
I hope you have enjoyed my first post for My Favorite Things! Be sure to stop by the MFT blog and see a full reveal of todays products and see what all the other fabulous design team members have done!
See you tomorrow for Day 4!!

Kay :)
