Penny Black Frosty Fun!

Hello Friends!

I am so excited to share a card with you today that is actually on my blog, and you don't have to travel anywhere to see it! This one is made with some adorable stamps from Penny Black. I do so love their cute little characters!

This card doesn't have a critter in the snow, but an adorable little girl and her snow cat! So cute!
So I started by stamping the snowy tree with Versamark ink and embossing it with clear embossing powder. Next I sponged  Peacock Feather distress ink on it bringing the beautiful snowy tree to life! I spritzed drops of water on it, and then took my paintbrush and some plain water and swooshed across the bottom to create a snowbank for the little girl and cat. I colored the cute characters with Copic markers, cut them out, and added them to the scene with foam tape. I cute the Hello die out three times, glued them all together then adhered them to the top of the panel. Then I mounted the whole panel on an A2 size card base.

  16. Okay, now you've done it...in addition to my 'I want a puppy' wish, I'm adding 'and a kitten'! Seriously, your card has me all giddy with delight.! An adorable little girl (she resembles my niece to a 't'), a darling kitten and both nestled on a sweet wintry scene...it just doesn't get more heart-warming and magical than this (well...until you create yet another stunning beauty *grin*). Good thing I won't ever have to select only one of your cards to adore; I'd declare myself incapable! Everything you create is phenomenal! In awe..again...and another bruise on my chinny-chin-chin (oops....apparently I'm still thinking about my piggy card I posted)...
