The Cutting Edge Challenge #14 and Poppystamps Sneak Peek!

I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend! It's chilly here, perfect weather for staying inside and doing a little crafting!

It's time to share the next Cutting Edge Challenge!  We have another inspiration project, this one done by Lisa!  Just be inspired by the card in the photo, to create your own card using any form of die cutting you'd like :)

Since I am full throttle Christmas now,  I chose to use this fabulous design with a little Christmas twist :)

I first cut out the striped patterned paper and the kraft card stock with  stitched rectangle dies. Then I cut out a stitched square with the red card stock and adhered it to the Kraft with foam tape. I then cut out the scalloped border and adhered it to the lower part of the Kraft rectangle. I cut the jolly sentiment out three times and layered them before gluing them down to the border. I next created the cute little Christmas candies and added them to the red panel with foam tape as well.

  • Dies: Stitched Rectangles- Lawn Fawn, Stitched Square and stitched border- Lil Inkers, Candies- Taylored Expressions, Jolly- Penny Black

We’d love to have you play along with us! If you click on through to The Cutting Edge Challenge Blog, you’ll find lots of information, including:

Kay :)

  3. Guess who? I'm back from gazing in jaw-dropped awe at your Poppystamp card and have returned to let you know how bedazzled I am. Kay, every detail on your card - from the water-coloured background, to the lovely trees, to the dimensional sentiment, to the 'glittery' snow - is stunning! The combination is a card that takes my breath away! Inspired and inspiring!
