We All Scream For Ice Cream!

Happy Monday!

I hope everyone had an enjoyable weekend!

Amongst all the birthday and Fourth of July festivities at our house this weekend, I did find some time to make a few cards. To keep my happiness level up to par, I must work in some kind of creative time almost daily, if not I start wilting pretty fast ;)

I recently received some new goodies from Clearly Besotted. ( surprise surprise! ) I loved the ice cream set and wanted to work with it in hopes that looking at something cold might actually cool me off during this warm weather. Well not much, but it sure was fun anyway!

Here's three cards that I made with this cute set. I mentioned it before, but just in case you missed that post, when I get a new set of stamps and dies, I like to make six cards with it before adding it to it's place in the craft room. I don't know why six, it's just a good even number, and they look so nicely sitting on my desk in two rows of three! haha!

This was a really fun set to work with and I love the cute sentiments that come with it!

The hello die and all of the stamps (Super Cool) are from by Clearly Besotted. The stitched mats, circles, and stitched scallops are from Lil Inkers. The pierced flag banners and scalloped border are from My Favorite Things. I colored the images with Copics and popped everything up with foam tape.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I will be back tomorrow with a super exciting post!!

Hugs,

Kay :)

  7. WOW! You truly do work magic with everything you touch! LOVE this trio (and your commitment to making six cards with each new set: yes!! I may take a page out of your book - at least that will 'justify' my purchases!!)! Gorgeous, stunning, awesome! Now, dear friend, you just march these gems off to Virginia's View: Die Cuts challenge! I could list several more you should head to, but that one is a MUST! Such amazing cards warrant showcasing everywhere!!! Love them (and now I'm add those to my wish list *grin*) Hugs~c
