Festive Friday #35

Hello my friends!

I hope everyone has had a wonderful week! Yesterday was my daughter's 12th birthday. We spent the day making her favorite breakfast, then packing a picnic lunch and going for a swim, then we came home and decorated her cake, and had a small family party with pizza, cake and ice cream.

It's time again for another challenge at Festive Friday!

Here is the gorgeous inspiration photo for this time around. What do you think of when you look at this photo? Presents of course! :D

Here is what I came up with:

So what did I do here? I used one of my adorable new little people from Mama Elephant and some presents! When I  saw that little boy in his jammies, the first thing I thought of was how cute he would be on a Christmas card! He would be perfect beside a tree or with some presents. I colored him and the presents (Lawn Fawn) with Copics, cut them out, and popped them up with foam tape. I cut two of the Merrys ( Papertrey Ink) and attached them with foam tape also. The stitched background die is from Lil Inkers.

I hope you will play along with us at Festive Friday!

You can also check out the amazing talent from the other design team members at Festive Friday!

Thank so much for stopping by!

I hope you all have a safe and happy weekend! Happy fourth to those of you in the US!

Hugs,

Kay :)

  4. Oh, Kay...this card is absolutely adorable! I love how you paired the little boy with the packages, and your die cut sentiment is fabulous! Such a perfectly crisp, clean and simple design, and your Copic coloring is amazing! May I ask: Which colors did you use to get his blond hair (I've been struggling with that)?

Belated Happy Birthday to your daughter! Sounds like you all had a great time! They grow up so fast, right? Happy 4th to you and your family...Hugs!

  11. Belated Happy Birthday to your daughter; sounds like her day was perfect! And I'm wishing her many more days of the same! You card...you have re-created the definition of adorable with this! The bold merry, and the trio of images, with that cutie-patootie little guy in the middle (yes, he reminds me of my nephew!!), is downright fabulous! Brilliant, beautiful, awesome!!
