Life is Good

Hello lovely friends!

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. The weather here could not be anymore wonderful! We are in the low seventies and the sun is shining and the humidity is low. Aaaaahh! I should be outside playing in it! But I have cards to make! haha! And I don't get many days where I have uninterrupted time like this :)

After I posted my card I made with my new Lawn Fawn goodies, and added to my post that I had indeed made eight of them with this set, I had several people comment and email that they would love to see the rest of them. I really hate to bombard you with 7 cards in one single post, so I thought I would spread them out over a few days, so I'm showing two of them today.

And I'm going to add this one to the Card Concept Challenge, because this was my week off and I hate missing the nautical theme! I LOVE anything nautical! It must be from my Florida roots and owning a Marine supply store and a seafood market.

Everything on both cards is from Lawn Fawn, except for the rectangle stitched dies which are from Lil Inkers. I used the stamp set and matching dies called Life is Good.  ( I just love that) The stitched flag die is from Lawn Fawn too. Colored everything with Copic markers.

I cannot begin to express how much fun I had using this set of stamps and making my eight cards!!! Are there other people out there who's greatest source of joy is a new stamp set and matching dies??? Please tell me I'm not alone! haha!

Have a wonderful weekend!!

Hugs,

Kay :)

  3. Wowza! Oh thank you so much for sharing these fabulous cards, Kay! They are spectacular. I am so glad you were inspired to make so many cards, because that means we'll get to see lots of fantastic eye candy from you! Win, win! I love your coloring, your card design that is deceptively simple and how you used the stamps. Kind of makes me want to run out and find the sets! But then, most of what you show makes me want to do that. Thanks so much for sharing, Kay! Have a wonderful day! :)

  5. I am terrible when it comes to the releases I am at my computer to the minute with MFT LOL.........then I dream of what I may be able to purchase and I try to plan delivery for when I am on my days off as I am a night shift worker and if any parcels are scheduled for when I am trying to sleep I wake to the slightest noise :) I have it bad I think but I am happy. I love your cards, we are in our winter now so sea sun and sand sounds divine :)

  12. Awesome; just completely awesome! You're working magic with the LF!! I finally ordered some nautical-themed products and am soooo excited to play with them. It's an unusual purchase for me, given we live in the mountains, but the 'influence' (translation: enabling!!) of others wore me down. Yours here are top-notch! Stay tuned....I'll be casing you again for sure!! Hugs~c

  16. Oh my, I discovered your blog via the Card Concept Challenge (Nautical) and your cards are just amazing... I used the same stamp set as you (love Lawn Fawn!) but how I would have liked to reach this kind of perfection : everything is so well-balanced, the textures, the colors, the embellishments and wait, coloring as well? I'm entering your blog in my feedly right now :)
