Hello there!
For someone who loves winter and doesn't particularly care for summer ( heat and humidity) I sure do love making little beach scene cards. I guess it's in my blood since I am from Florida, and spent much of my summers playing on the coast... fond memories :)
Anyway, I have another little beach scene card to share with you today!
I used my new Taylored Expressions dies for this card. They have come out with some new tiny dies that are called Little Bits and they are just adorable! The banner is from Papertrey Ink and the sentiment is from WPlus9.
I'm adding this to the Addicted To CAS challenge this week which is sun!
I have a cute photo I wanted to share with you too. We homeschool, and my daughter was working on her math, when I came into the room and saw this. I'm not sure how she manages to work with a dog in her lap, but it was so cute I had to run get the camera. Frito was quite content to sit there with her for quite a while!
Isn't he precious :) He's my baby.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a wonderful week!
Hugs,
Kay :)
Another adorable card Kay. The scenes you are creating are just too cute. And speaking of too cute? The picture of your daughter and puppy is so much fun.
ReplyDeleteI think you like making these scenes because you can enjoy the feel of the beach without all the pesky heat, sand and humidity! :D I, for one, am glad you like to make adorable beachy scenes like this because they take me back to when I used to go to the beach weekly in the summer when I was growing up. Um, can't do that now in my landlocked state. LOL Your ability to make me smile with your cards is through the roof, Kay! And that photo of your daughter with your cute pooch is beyond adorable. Awwwwwww.... :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your cute beach scene, Kay! So perfect.
ReplyDeleteAdorable photo of your daughter and Frito(love the name). We homeschool too. :)
OH, HOW I LOVE YOUR BEACH SCENES.. THEY TAKE ME BACK TOO ;) AND THEY ARE ALMOST AS CUTE AS THE PIC WITH KAYLEA & FRITO.
ReplyDeleteLOVE your beach scene, Kay! And I'm with you, I don't like the heat and humidity at all. Your doggie is adorable and I love that name, Frito, hee hee. I home school my 13 year old, seems like we have a lot in common :)
ReplyDeleteOh how adorable is that picture. I love it. Your card is absolutely awesome. The beach scene is fabulous Kay.
ReplyDeletewhat a fabulous card such a glorious summer scene, especially love the beach and sandcastle great texture. This is just perfect for our Sun challenge at ATCAS thanks so much for playing along. As for your puglet he reminds me so much of my beautiful Looby Lou who sadly has passed. That little face is so cute and they do love their cuddles don't they

Sweet card and even sweeter picture. ~Diane
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, I don't know which is sweeter...your card or Frito!!! OK, first the card ~ You create the cutest scenes, and this one is no exception! I love the summer colors on the images and Kraft for your sand and castle...so cute! Great job creating your waves, too and your crisp, clean sentiment is fabulous on the banner! Awesome card, Kay!
ReplyDeleteFrito is just too CUTE! My daughter has a Pug (her 2nd one), and I just LOVE her! I think they are the sweetest and most cuddly creatures God ever created, and my next pup will be a Pug...no doubt about it! As always, I really admire that you 'home school' your children...you are so dedicated, and I believe it's the best choice EVER! Hugs to you...Barb
