Hello! It's Wednesday again and it's time for another challenge at The Card Concept! We have been so thrilled that so many people have liked and joined us for this new challenge!
We have this gorgeous photo inspiration for a floral theme this time. I was inspired by the lovely springlike colors.
Here's what I came up with!
I stamped the lace ( Recollections) across a white panel, then cut a bit off the edge before mounting it on my base card which I had adhered the green patterned paper. I then stamped and die cut all of the flowers and greenery ( Avery Elle) and arranged them with foam tape. Last I stamped the sentiment ( WPlus9).
Thanks so much for stopping by! Stop by and see what the other designers have created and I hope you'll join us for the challenge at The Card Concept!
Hugs,
Kay :)
Oh gosh, another beauty! I love the color of ink you used for the lace! Well, I love the lace stamp image as well. (And it's a Recollections stamp....ooooohhh) Looks like you had so much fun cutting and stamping and arranging, I really need to do more of that! The font on the sentiment is lovely. So is the sentiment. I'm always doing that! (hee, hee) Lovely work, Kay!
ReplyDeleteKay,your card is stunning!! I love the pretty lace and the beautiful flowers!! As always...prefect!! :)

ReplyDeleteI'm so smitten with your beautiful style, that I can spot your card a mile away, Kay! This is really gorgeous...I love the soft colors and the lace border is so elegant! Such a pretty font on the sentiment, too!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for always providing us with your amazing inspiration!
Oh, wow, what a stunner this is, Kay! That lace stamp is amazing. Why bother with the added weight and thickness of real lace or doily when this stamp conveys the same feeling in one layer? I'm all over this ~ thank you! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful card, I love seeing your posts come up in my dashboard as I know I am in for a treat

I learn soooo much from each card you post (from this one, I appear to *need* some AE and WPlus9 products *grin*)
