Festive Friday #24

Hello and happy Friday!

It's time for a new challenge at Festive Friday

Check out the gorgeous inspiration photo! I had a hard time deciding how to be inspired by this beauty. I didn't know whether to use the lovely colors or the ornaments or both!

After looking through my new and old goodies, I picked out a few things and then I chose some colors or ink inspired from the photo,

and here is what I came up with!

This is the first time I have ever used glittered cardstock, but I bought some during my last visit to Michael's and had been trying to figure out something to do with it. I love the look of the gold snowflake tucked in there :) I used the following stamp sets from Papertrey Ink: Snowflake Flurries, Peaceful Pines, and Bells and Boughs, along with matching dies. The stitched mat is from Lil Inkers. The inks I used are Stampin' Up: More Mustard, Early Expresso, Always Artichoke, Crumb Cake and Baked Brown Sugar.

I hope you will play along with us at Festive Friday!

You can also check out the amazing talent from the other design team members at Festive Friday!

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Hugs,

Kay :)

  6. I don't know how you do it, Kay...but this card is a real Knock - Out!!! It looks like 'cm' took the words right out of my mouth, so I will attempt to somehow convey how much I LOVE this card!

The color palette that you chose is spot on with the inspiration photo, and I'm truly in awe of how you layered all of the elements on this card in such a cohesive way! Then of course, there's your layered stitched mats...WOW! This card really is 'Perfect' in every way! Thank you so much for inspiring me!

  7. Oh. My. Goodness! Kay! Gorgeous is definitely the word that comes to mind when I look at this card. It is non traditional, but in a fabulous way. I love, love, love the addition of the glittery snowflake. I love the colors you chose. I love every little bitty bit of this card. It's really stunning! Like the others have said, I really honestly don't know how you do it, you consistently come up with fabulous works of art again and again. Oh to have a teensy bit of that talent. Instead, I will admire and smile and feel happy whenever you post to your blog! Hugs!
