Greetings! I hope everyone is having a good week. It's cloudy, cool and rainy here today, which I actually love, especially this time of year. We have a fire going and there's a pumpkin pie Scentsy melt filling the air with wonderful smells! Oooh I do love it!
Do you ever have stamps that are so pretty that you're afraid to use them? Well I do this sometimes. I don't really know why I won't get them out of the package and use them. I don't know if it's because I'm afraid I won't be able to make something as lovely as I think I should with them, or if I just want to save them because they're so pretty?? Anyway, this set was one of those, but when I saw the challenge at Festive Friday, I forced myself to open this package! haha! This lovely set is from WPlus9 and it has so many wonderful little things to stamp, stamp again and die cut. I cut out tons of stuff and just played around with all the pieces until I was happy.
I'm so glad that I forced myself to open these up!!
This is going to the Festive Friday Challenge which was to use a wreath on your card.
Supplies:
Stamps: Woodland Wreaths and Pretty Patches Tree by WPlus9
Ink: Stampin' Up!
Paper: GinaK and Stampin' Up!
Dies: WPlus9 and Lil' Inkers

ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty and festive Kay - looks like there are endless possibilities with that stamp set. I totally get you about opening stamp sets...sometimes my new stamps sit there for weeks unopened lol!
ReplyDeleteFirstly, I have to say that I am so GLAD you finally opened this stamp and die set to play! Your card is absolutely gorgeous, Kay! I love the pretty colors and how you arranged all of the elements, and the white stitched panel on the red base is the icing on the cake...it's just perfect!
ReplyDeleteI found out about the giveaway here and on Therese Calvird's blog. I don't have a Twitter account, but I will do everything else you suggested :-) So far, I'm creating cards for the Caring Hearts Card Drive, but I'll be taking Jen McGuire's online card class, so I'm sure I'll be working on other fun projects, too! Thanks so much for a chance to win...my apologies for my super long post!
Sounds like you had a lovely day yesterday, Kay! Nice and cozy. I have also neglected to open and use stamps myself, more because I had a block as to how to use them at all to get something decent, let alone, pretty. LOL I'm sure glad you broke out this stamp set for the end result is absolutely beautiful. Wow!

ReplyDeleteGorgeous card...a good thing you played with it..I received this set only yesterday so still need to play with it...hope my card looks as good as yours...
So Gorgeous. Your cards would make everyone want to rush out and purchase the exact stamps you have used. :-) and then be too scared to use them because it wouldn't look as good as your card!
ReplyDeleteSo lovely, Kay!!! Love the sweet spray of die cuts you've arranged on the pretty wreath! So glad you joined us at Festive Friday with this!!!
