It's Friday!! Yay!!
And I have a card to share for Merry Monday today! I had no trouble getting in the frosty mood to create this card today as it is snowing outside right now and has been since I woke up. It's not much, and there is minor accumulation, but it's pretty outside and I'm cozy inside :)
The challenge this week was the tic tac toe board, which is one of my favorites! I think it's so fun to get to pick and choose. Yeah, I'm easily entertained and amused! Anyway, I chose the line across the bottom, snowflakes, pink and turquoise, and designer paper. I have always loved pink and aqua together , perhaps because I'm from Florida, I don't know, and anything with snowflakes in it I am crazy about. I have more snowflake stamps than any other kind :)
I had a lot of fun playing around with this card. I used the banner builder dies and Snowflake Medley stamps and dies from Papertrey Ink. The little white border is a new and fabulous die that I got from Verve. I really love it because it's small. Most of my border dies are almost too large to use on a card. And the banner is also a new die I got from Verve. I love playing with new stuff! The big snowflake in the background is a Spellbinders die.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
Hugs,
Kay :)
Oh, Kay, this is delightful! Love the selections of papers and dies!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Kay, I am working on my MM tonight too. I love those Doodlebug papers, I am hoarding them at present. Your snowflakes so pretty and I love that Verve die! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteOh this is wonderful! I picked the same row, but wow--I like your card so much better. I have the snowflake die & haven't used it yet, but you've inspired me!
ReplyDeleteOh Kay, this is enchanting! Love the snowflakes. You know, I really like snowflakes, too, and I don't mind snow or shoveling. I grew up in Southern California. Maybe there's a connection there? LOL Anyway, I get your fascination with them (I think ;) ) Looks like you got some really fun new goodies and are putting them to excellent use! Happy weekend! Hope you get to have fun piddling around.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Kay! And you KNOW there is another little gallery this should have been put in!!!;) Your colors are gorgeous, and I probably don't have to say I love the snowflake stamps and dies! That little scallop border is sweet! I'm in the same boat...mine are all too big. The little scallops on my card are PTI's heart border die...upside down! (A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do!!!)
ReplyDeleteI never could have imagined this color combo on a Christmas card, but my imagination has just been stretched! This is gorgeous and I love all of those pretty elements you added!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous and fun card. I love the snowflakes and banner elements.
