It's time for another challenge at Festive Friday! Oh and I loved this one! It was to create a project with a rustic country theme. Love that! I have been hoarding this piece of background paper from Simple Stories since before Christmas. I LOVE it and I didn't want to use it. I finally broke down and cut it! Yikes! But I still have some smaller pieces to use on something else.... :)
Also, I tied that bow myself! I was so proud! I think I'm getting better at it!
That adorable little tree stamp is from Wplus9. Been saving that one too. So fun to finally use some of my well loved purchases! :)
I got my glasses yesterday! Wooooo! I'm still adjusting to them.... I guess. I can see great for about a 6 foot radius around me, but my distance is blurry now. It's just the opposite then it was. I never had trouble with my distance before, so I'm hoping that is just part of the adjustment and I'll be able to see far away soon...
Anyway, here is the inspiration from Festive Friday! Such a fun inspiration board if you want to play along too!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you have a great day!
Hugs,
Kay :)
Amazing...love the colours and the design, this is unreal Kay!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Love the papers you chose and the colors really stand out....
ReplyDeleteWow, that's some gorgeous paper! And it was worth cutting into as painful as it must have been. This card is so pretty! Great job on the bow!
ReplyDeleteThis card is just perfect, Kay! Papers, trees, layout! Everything!
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful card Kay, I love all of your details. I have that Simple Stories in a 6 x 6 pad and I have been hoarding it too!
ReplyDeleteOh, my, Kay...another great Christmas card!!! So happy to see you back! Love all your sweet patterns and colors here! And you've layered it all so nicely! It's a beauty!! Thanks so much for joining us again!
ReplyDeleteLook at all those delicious layers! I'm really loving all the details in this card!
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm so glad you cut into that paper and shared how pretty it is in your card. I suspect you can get more of it if you really want to keep some bigger pieces in your stash. (wink, wink) I really like the focal element where you have matted the rounded music and red pieces in the center. Must be some sort of cut...may have to see if I have something similar as it looks great. The card is stunning...just stunning!
ReplyDeleteGlad you got your glasses, too, but it could be something is wrong as I don't think you should have blurriness. Might want to check with your eye doctor to be sure there isn't a problem. Would hate for you to have to deal with headaches from the glasses! Good luck!
Another gorgeous one, Kay!! I love every little thing about it, and yogurt so many lovely details in there. I am so glad you played with us again, I love seeing your beautiful work!
ReplyDeleteWow! Stunning Christmas card! Love the various patterned paper and polka dot ribbon!
ReplyDeleteIncredible card, Kay! Love the rustic, primitive feel!
