The Greetery: Gathered Blessings Collection Day 2

  Hello friends!

Welcome to the second day of the full reveals for the newest collection coming to The Greetery! As I said yesterday, this collection is called Gathered Blessings and it is just gorgeous!

All of the products that I am using today  will be available at The Greetery this Friday August 28th at 10 EDT.

My first card uses the beautiful Mimosa Musings stamp set and coordinating dies. We have a huge Mimosa tree up at the top of our driveway and I just love it! When it blooms it smells so wonderful and I love the color of the blooms. For the background of my card, I just lightly swished some watered down Distress ink along the top and bottom right edge with a large brush. I then speckled it with a  bit more of the same color.

I stamped the mimosas and cut them out with the coordinating dies. They were adhered to the card with foam tape. The sentiment is included in the set and I stamped it with two shades of bright pink.

***

My next card uses the Blessed Blooms stamp set and coordinating dies. I first blended some purple ink onto my cardstock along the center and speckled with the same color ink.

I first stamped and cut out the sentiment and adhered it to the center of my card at an angle. I stamped all of the images in oranges and purples, cut them out with the coordinating dies and added them around the sentiment.

***

My last card is a little different style than I usually do. I was channeling my inner Tim Holtz when I made this one ;) I don't usually do this type of card, but sometimes when no one is watching... I do...and I enjoy it! I had a lot of fun with this one. I used the new Botanicuts:Toadstool Garden, Botanicuts: Mighty Oak and then the previously released Botanicuts: Sunflower. Because it just needed a flower.

I used Distress Oxide inks to color everything and I speckled them with water and then with Vintage Photo Oxide ink. The background was done pretty much the same way except that I started with the aqua colored cardstock.  The sentiment is from the Blessed Blooms stamp set. I did some ink smooshing to get it vintage looking and then cut the words apart.

I hope you have enjoyed my cards today!  The beautiful Gathered Blessings Collection will be available at The Greetery tomorrow Friday August 28th at 10 EDT.
