MFT February Release Countdown Day 1

I am back for the last day of the My Favorite Things Release Countdown! It has flown by and there are only mere hours until all of the fabulous new stamps and dies will be available!

Be sure to check out the My Favorite Things Blog to see a full reveal of today's products, and to see what all the other fabulous design team members have done! All of the new products will be available tomorrow, February 2nd, at 10:00pm EST!

And now this card... I do so like this way this one turned out! I spent all day long on this one card! I watercolored several backgrounds before I got just the perfect one, then I played with the placement of the rainbow and sun for hours, but I think it's worth it in the end. It's a happy card!

The background was watercolored with Peerless watercolors. The rainbow was cut out of several beautiful colorful card stocks which are all listed and linked below, and  I used the Stitched Cloud edges Die-namics for the fluffy clouds at the bottom. The rainbow sentiment was cut out three times and layered for dimension. It is the new Free with a $60 purchase die set! So fun!  After it was all done, I went back and added the white leafy things and the yellow flower. It just needed something else on that left side for balance. I was quite happy with it after that :)

And one more photo to hopefully help you see some of the dimension. I used quite a bit of foam tape on this one. Also I couldn't call it done until I had scattered a few clear PPP sequins about for a little sparkle!

Make sure you hop on over to the  My Favorite Things Blog to see a full reveal of today's products, and to see what all the other fabulous design team members have done! And don't forget, tomorrow, February 2nd, at 10:00pm EST all the new products will be in the MFT Online store! Can't wait!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs,

Kay :)
