Papertrey Ink - Make It Market Kit: Don't Forget To Write

Hello! I am so excited about this post! The new Papertrey Ink Make it Market kit: Don't Forget To Write, by Betsy Veldman is coming out on May 1st at Papertrey Ink, and I have some projects to share with you  today that I created with it!

You absolutely cannot help but create beautiful projects with this kit, because everything in it is stunning!

For my first project, I created a set of stationery to give as a gift. I used the printed papers that come in three sizes for these. The largest card on the left is an A2, the center is an A1 and the small is 4 x 4.

There are three cards in each set and I wrapped them with a two inch piece of vellum. I tied a piece of gold and white Baker's Twine around each of them, and they are each embellished a little differently using the stickers and preprinted cut outs included in the kit.

I created three of each design using all three of the different sizes. I used the preprinted papers, gluing   those down to the different card sizes, die cut the Sending die and adhered it, then stamped Hugs.

For this set, I did the same thing as the first, just used the different papers, the gift die and appropriate stamps.

I think these make such a beautiful gift set!

Here is a photo of just the 4 x4 cards with the matching envelopes. I added a round floral sticker to each of the envelopes.

Betsy has also included a PDF file of this cute little box that you can download and cut out to create a nice holder for your cards. She has three, one for each size.

I created a wrap for my little box with a 2 inch piece of vellum, and added one of the stamped frames along with a round floral sticker.

One of my very favorite things in the kit is the folded notecard die. It makes the prettiest little scalloped 4 x 4 card! For these I cut out the notecard and added a piece of the background paper. The pretty striped frame was stamped and cut out with the matching dies.

I stamped the greetings and then added the floral cluster at the top left, which was stamped in steps using different colors.

Next I created an A2 top folded card. Everything on the card is stamped with the stamps, and cut out with the matching dies. I used a piece  of the paper that is included in the kit for the background, and everything is mounted with foam tape.

The ombre effect on the sentiment, I created by using my MISTI and sponging darker ink along the bottom.

This is another top folded A2 size card. I sponged some Aqua Mist ink onto my card base then layered the frame and the flowers with foam tape. The flowers this time are from the printed sheets, cut out with the matching die. I cut out three of the sentiments and layered those on top of the flowers.

The birthday cheer sentiment was stamped on the little flag die cut and adhered with foam tape as well.

You want to know what is so fabulous now? I still have tons of stuff left over to play with even after making all of these projects! Seriously after working with this kit for several days, I am even more in love with it than I was when I opened the box up! Everything in it is so pretty!

Now I know you are wanting to know when, how, where can I get this box of loveliness, so here are all the details!

The next Make It Market Kit will be released on May 1st and it is entitled "Don't Forget to Write".  There is nothing quite like that feeling when you open your mailbox and experience opening a handwritten letter from a loved one. With this kit you can create beautiful letter-writing necessities for yourself or as a gift. Thank You Beary Much

Hello! I have a fun card to share with you today using that adorable Koala Bear stamp set and Confetti Cuts from Reverse Confetti!

I love those cute little Koalas, so had to make another card with them. I used distress ink for my background, blending it onto watercolor paper and sprinkling with water. The stamps were colored with Copic markers and cut out with the matching dies. I cut a circle out of a white panel of card stock and layers this over my distress ink background with foam tape.

I adhered the cut outs with foam tape and added a couple of leaves from the Rose Garden stamp set, and a few PPP sequins!

Below is a linked list of the products I used on this card!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
