All of the new products you are seeing shown will be available for sale at Papertrey Ink on February 15th at 10:00 EST.

Do you love everything Betsy makes like I do? Sigh.... today is the introduction of a brand new series called Tiny Town with the very first being an adorable little church! These are quite a bit bigger than the little houses that make up the Petite Places series, so they are perfect for hostess gifts, ornaments ( yeah that's me ) table centerpieces, gift boxes, and I am sure the other design team girls have come up with many more inspiring possibilities!

I don't know why it is that for some reason, I want to turn everything into an ornament I can hang on a tree?? :) I think it is because of my love for Christmas and the wonderful memories I have of crafting ornaments with my Mom each year.  We would cover the dining room table with a big heavy blanket and then a plastic table cloth usually sometime in October, and she would let me spend my days in there crafting away until we had to clean it all up so we could use the table for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner. I just loved that time. I made many an ornament, that I still have, and love showing to my kids each year when we decorate our tree.

Okay enough of my nostalgic step back in time :) You probably want to hear all about this adorable little church die and how I put this ornament , yes ornament together.  I cut all of the Tiny Town: Basics pieces along with the church front out of Sweet Blush card stock. The roof is cut with the Tiny Town: Scallop Shingles out of Soft Stone card stock. The windows and door frames were all cut out of Stamper's Select white card stock and glued to the shapes before assembling.  I then assembled the house shape and glued on the roof and the church front. I left the bottom open so I could insert a tea light inside.

I inserted a white ribbon through the shingles at the top for hanging. I then stamped, cut out, and then glued all the little vines and flowers onto the outside.

This was such a fun project to put together, and you should have heard my daughter oohing and aaahing over it as it all came together! I can't wait to see what Betsy has next in this adorable new series!!
